In August and September 2011 BFI Southbank will present a season of highlights from Dirk Bogarde's film career. Beginning with Victim (1961) the programme will include work with Joseph Losey and Luchino Visconti as well as, hopefully, some rarities.

To coincide with the season of films, BFI Publishing will release BFI Film Classics on Victim (1961) by John Coldstream and The Servant (1963) by Amy Sargeant. Both books are available for pre-order from Amazon.

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of Dirk's birth we have produced a set of 20 postcards, featuring illustrations and sketches which reflect his skill as an artist. Work which has never been seen before and items from his Sketchbook have been combined with others from his many published books.
