in London (1952) As heroic Wg/Cdr Tim Mason, Dirk breaks the rules to complete his 90th sortie and to win the heart of Eve Canyon (Dinah Sheridan) over American competition. Considered by many an unusually realistic film on WWII Bomber Command, it gave Dirk one of his own favourite early roles. Anthony Forwood makes a brief appearance.
